SweeTARTS releases limited-edition college gummies

GLENDALE, Calif. (KTHV) - Five custom college-inspired SweeTARTS gummies have been released just in the nick of time for the college football season. The gummies are based on the team mascots of UCLA, University of Texas, University of Tennessee, The Ohio State University and our very own University of Arkansas.

The release of the gummies are a part of SweeTARTS' "Follow Your TART" campaign. The campaign helps fans follow passions as well as satisfy their sweet tooth.

"SweeTARTS is honoring these passionate fans by celebrating school spirit with our college-themed SweeTARTS Gummies," said SweeTARTS Brand Manager Meghan Erickson. "Now everyone can celebrate with these delicious treats, making them part of their game day rituals."

Nestlé, the company behind SweeTARTS has partnered with IMG, who manages multiple sports figures and distributor of sports media to bring the gummies to the public. The goal with the college gummies, the companies said, are to expand to more colleges-based gummies in 2017.

For now though, us here in Arkansas can call the Hogs with SweeTARTS' college gummies if we want to.
