Teens asked to remove Confederate flags

WALDRON, Ark. (KTHV) - In western Arkansas, students in the Waldron School District protest after asked to stop flying confederate flags.

The Waldron superintendent said the three teens could offend other students while flying the flags on campus.

One of the teens said he thinks school officials are trying to take away his rights, and added that he is only flying the confederate flag because he's proud of where he lives.

The superintendent said each student has agreed to remove the flag, but in protest Tuesday morning, the teens drove on the street in front of the school with the rebel flags back on their trucks.
