Two arrested in fatal Little Rock stabbing

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred on Thursday night in Little Rock.

Gerald L. Ashby, 26, and Kowana Hudson, 37, both of Little Rock, are charged with first degree murder. 

Police were called to the 5000 block of West 29th Street on Thursday night for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers found a 50-year-old man who had been stabbed several times. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Witnesses stated that there had been an argument between Ashby and the victim. It was said that he began stabbing the victim, and Hudson joined in. The altercation led to the victim's death from multiple stab wounds. 

The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
