Thousands without power in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Entergy Arkansas crews are investigating the cause of a power outage that affected thousands of customers on Friday morning.

The first outages were reported around 8:30 a.m., and included the Reservoir and Sturbridge neighborhoods and also areas from Cantrell Road to Rodney Parham.

According to Sally Graham with Entergy Arkansas, an automated device malfunctioned, so crews were sent to manually reset the device.

As of 9:45 a.m., over 2,000 customers were still without power in the Reservoir area. Crews are working to restore power as soon as possible.
