Tree falls on home in Leawood area

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Lightning was the big issue in the Leawood area of Little Rock on Monday.

Lightning hit a tree on Biscayne Drive, knocking it onto a home. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

The above video was taken on University around 6 p.m. The heavy rain caused a number of accidents also in Little Rock.

Little Rock Fire responded to a water rescue after a report of two people trapped in a car near St. Vincent Circle and University, but Captain Edwin Wolfe said that the driver and passengers were able to get out on their own.
