A popular comedian and TV host is replacing David Letterman as CBS' late-night host.

CBS announced on Thursday that Stephen Colbert Report will replace Letterman when he retires next year.

Colbert is signed for five years.

Letterman has hosted "Late Show with David Letterman" since 1993.

Grandma rides coaster for first time

Also hot online, a video of a grandmother from the Netherlands waited nearly eight decades to take her first roller coaster ride.

She has never flown on an airplane before, and thought the coaster ride would help prepare her.

Needless to say, she absolutely loved it.

Royal baby attends first public duty

Performing his first public duty, Prince George joined in a play date with other toddlers in Wellington, New Zealand on Wednesday.

His parents joined the gathering as well.

The duke and duchess of Cambridge are on a 19-day official visit to New Zealand and Australia with him.
