LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Two possibly gang related shootings within hours of one another have left three teens injured. One Thursday night shooting happened at the intersection of Peyton and 16th street leaving two juveniles injured with one in critical condition. Both victims were taken to UAMS. Several cars and windows were also hit during the shooting.
"Everybody heard it, everybody heard the noise, it was awful," a neighbor wishing to remain anonymous said. “It sounded like war.”
Earlier that day, a separate shooting left another juvenile injured. It happened on Montclair and Cone leaving a teen with multiple gunshot wounds. Police found him lying in the middle of the street.
"People need to watch their teenagers a little bit more, know where they are," said the neighbor.
The teen told police two black men had shot him and he was taken to the hospital. We don't know his condition at this time.
“Hopefully all this stuff starts getting taken care of, but I’m going to start staying in the house," said Roy Bell who lives nearby.
Now police are looking at whether these shootings could be gang related while neighbors said they come at no surprise to them.
"Too many times and too many people getting hurt," the anonymous neighbor said.
“I hear shots and paramedics, ambulance every night, every night, you just get used to it," said Bell.
Police haven’t released any suspects for the shooting, but the case remains an active investigation.
