Little Rock police investigate homicide at Big Country Chateau apartments

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Little Rock Police Department is investigating a homicide at Big Country Chateau apartments on Thursday night.

Officers responded to 6200 Colonel Glenn around 7 p.m. about a shooting call. Police were at the Kum and Go across the street from the complex at the time.

When police arrived, witnesses said the shots came from upstairs. That's where officers found 43-year-old Steven McPherson, of North Little Rock, shot multiple times.

McPherson was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Witnesses also told police an argument inside the apartment led to the shooting. The suspect was described as a man in his 20's, in a black shirt and red shorts.
