Walkathon to be held in Little Rock to help plant trees

Ark. charity holds BAPS Walk Green to help plant trees

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A BAPS Walk Green walkathon is being held Saturday, May 20.

The BAPS Walk Green Walkathon is being held to help the nature conservancy plant 1 billion trees by 2025.  In 2016, BAPS raised $100,000 that helped them plant 70,000 trees.

The walk will be held May 20 at Burns Park in Little Rock. The walk is free, but donations are accepted. They encourage people to take selfies during the walk and use #WalkGreen.
