Walmart starts drive-thru grocery store

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The city of Bentonville has given Walmart the green light to build a new store, but this won't be your typical Walmart.

The location will be drive-thru only.

Customers will place their grocery order online and then make a scheduled pick-up at the store.

The Bentonville planning commission approved the large scale development earlier this week.

It's a 15,000 square foot building with drive-up windows so customers will never need to get out of their cars.

There is no word yet on what they will charge for the service.
