LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- People are buying cars that are more fuel efficient to help them save money on gasoline. But that in turn is making the federal government lose money in the way of gasoline tax which goes towards fixing roads.

Now some states are considering a tax on how many miles you drive and to do that, the government would place a box on your vehicle to record your mileage.
