After a four-day recess due to Hurricane Matthew, which caused damage throughout the Brunswick area and Georgia coastline, the Ross Harris trial is set to resume Wednesday morning.
During the first week, jurors heard from a Cobb County Crime Technician and were shown pictures of Cooper’s car seat in relation to the driver’s seat.

The gut wrenching moment however was when the jury was shown pictures and video of Cooper’s body at the scene. Jurors were visibly upset during the viewing, one woman began tearing up while a male juror covered his mouth.
After a recess the jurors heard from three witnesses who were at the scene as they described what they recalled and Ross Harris’ behavior.
One witness stated his behavior seemed insincere and that he didn’t appear to show much concern for his deceased son. The defense later claimed she gave a prior interview stating otherwise at the scene.
The jury will receive more evidence and hear from more people who were present at the scene this week. They also anticipate to hear from his ex-wife Leanna Taylor in the days to come.
