Britton has been accused of the murder of Michelle Asher of Greenbrier, who was found in her yard Saturday with multiple stab wounds.
He appeared in Faulkner County Circuit Court Monday afternoon. Prosecutors requested no bond due to the nature of the crime and his extensive criminal history. The court granted the request and ordered him held without bond.
His next court appearance will be October 21.
