LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (CNN, KTHV) -- A survey conducted by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling indicates 64 percent of Americans aren't prepared to handle an emergency expense.
The results of the poll were released Wednesday. Only 36 percent of those surveyed said they had enough cash on hand in case of a $1,000 emergency.
