MAUMELLE, Ark. (KTHV) -- Controversy continues over the Lake Maumelle Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

The Pulaski County Quorum Court has tabled the issue until a United States Geological study comes out.

That decision led the crowd at the meeting to cheer. Property owners are facing new zoning regulations. Any addition they make to their property they would need a permit for.

The reason for the plan is to limit anything that might affect runoff into the lake. Property owners see this as an infringement on their rights.
