NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 7, 2012) - The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department has scheduled a public involvement meeting to discuss plans for the Broadway Bridge (photo gallery) over the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock.
 
Highway officials say the proposed project calls for replacing the existing bridge with a new span and ramps. The proposal is scheduled to be let to contract next year.
 
Project estimates and aerial photos of the project location were on display this evening at the Arkansas Transit Association building in North Little Rock. Contact: 501-569-2227.
 
Residents could visit the ATA to view the displays, ask questions or provide comments.
