LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas unemployment rate for March fell two-tenths of a percentage point to 7.4 percent.
Data released Friday by the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services shows the 7.4 percent state unemployment rate is the lowest since June 2009.
March was also the eighth consecutive month in which employment grew in Arkansas.
The national unemployment rate decreased one-tenth of a percentage point, falling from 8.3 percent in February to 8.2 percent in March.
