GARLAND COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A man is wanted out of Garland County for the alleged kidnapping and assault of a 22-year-old woman.
Deputies say 36-year-old Jason Ripley is wanted out of Garland County. They have active warrants on him for battery of the first degree in reference to this case.
According to the report, the victim told authorities that Ripley got mad at the her while they were at a friend's house on Turtle Creek Road. Their relationship is unknown.
Deputies say the victim told authorities that Ripley covered her face with a shirt and drove her to a camper.
The victim told authorities that over the course of two days Ripley tortured her in a number of ways, including burning her with cigarettes and hitting her over the head with a 1 gallon jug containing frozen water. She also told authorities that he tortured her with a stun gun, forced her to take pills, and possibly raped her. She says she was unconscious for some time.
Deputies say the victim was able to get away.
She was taken to a medical center for treatment after speaking with authorities.
