Update: Benton police searching for shooting suspects

BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Benton Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating two subjects involved in two separate shootings within the past few days.

The three subjects are 20-year-old Jesse Hodge and 31-year-old Wayne Corner. Police say two other subjects, Keon Jordan, 20, and Doreal Mills, 20, were also involved in a different incidents but are already in custody.

The first incident took place on May 22 around 7:45 pm. Officers say they responded to a disturbance on Conrad Street. Officers say Corner and Hodge broke into the residence and threatened a victim with a gun.

According to the report, shots were fired and a fight broke out, but the suspects fled before police arrived. No one was inured.

The second incident took place on May 25 around 2:24 on Dixie Street. According to witnesses, Mills and Jordan were attending a party at the residence when they become upset and left. They returned shortly thereafter and fired shots at a vehicle parked in the front of the house before fleeing the area.

Keon Jordan was taken into custody first and is currently being held in the Saline County Detention Facility. Mills is also now in custody as of 3 pm Monday afternoon.

Detectives are asking that anyone with information on the suspects' whereabouts to please contact the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or leave a tip on the tip line at 315-TIPS.

Individuals also may send an anonymous tip about their whereabouts to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword BNPD in the body of the text.
