SEARCY, Ark. (KTHV) - Thursday, a man was taken into custody on drug charges.
The Central Arkansas Drug Task Force along with the White County Sheriff's Office, Searcy Police Department and federal authorities arrested Edwin Padilla, 29, of Searcy.
He is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Authorities found 59 grams of suspected meth in the form of ice on Padilla. The drugs have an estimated street value between $1,880 and $5,900.
Padilla is being held on $200,000 bond. Additional charges are expected.
