PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) -- Here, at Today's THV, we are featuring stories about great dads from all over the state.

"I love my family and... it's unconditional love. There's bad things that are going to happen and there are gonna be good things that happen but in the end you still love your family as much as you always did."

These are the words of Charlie O'Fallon as he sits in front yard in Pine Bluff Thursday afternoon.

Windy, dirt roads in Jefferson County lead to his house-- the house he shares with his wife, 3 daughters, a son-in-law and two grandkids. 

His oldest daughter Becca says they're close friends--and her father is amazing. "He is the most loving, generous and kindest man I know," she writes in a note.

Taking care of Becca's mom is one of her father's biggest responsibilities. 62-year-old Charlie O'Fallon is a man with old-fashioned values--and he's proud of it.

He says, "Who I am: I'd have to go back in the beginning, when I was young. I was raised in a real poor family. We were a very close knit family."

Today, Charlie is the patriarch of his own close knit family and he's taught them to focus on what's important to him: character, honesty and trust. 
"I began to understand as I grew older what those things really meant: When I began to have a family. And my children and my wife became my life and they still are to a degree."

Becca is the oldest of the 3 girls--and she knows they have at least one thing in common. She says with a big grin, "We're Daddy's girls. Yeah. Haha, all three of us are I think!"

Her Daddy works in the prefabrication business at a factory in Pine Bluff. He takes care of his wife who was paralyzed 8 years ago and can't take care of hers.

Meanwhile, Charlie says, "I don't see myself as as super dad. I just see myself as a dad."

He's humble with a sense of humor. When he's NOT working--his motorcycle is his favorite toy. He was going to sell it about 6 months ago because he thougth he was getting to old to ride it but when no one bought it--he brought it back home! And he's been riding it ever since. 

Becca has NEVER ridden the bike with her dad...until today. Seh chose to do celebrate him and to honor him for Father's Day by riding with him!  

This father-daughter team agree they are best friends...and have been through a lot together.
Charlie shares a few words of wisdom.

He says, "For young fathers: first of all don't be self-centered. Life is not always about you and the things that YOU want to do. It's all about a family. Your children. You are your children's role model."

And Becca's says she and her sisters have a great role model in the man she calls "Dad".
