MONTICELLO, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas-Monticello football team will have a different look when players hit the field this fall.
Head coach Hud Jackson announced Monday the team's new uniforms will feature an all-green color scheme for home games and an all-white scheme for away games.
The Boll Weevils will debut their new uniforms Sept. 1, when Arkansas-Monticello hosts College of Faith in the season opener for both teams. Jackson says the plan is for the team to wear the all-green uniforms at all six home games.
Players wore the all-white uniforms for multiple home games during the 2011 season.
Jackson, his staff and the players were responsible for the design of the new uniforms. The final product was approved by a leadership council that included coaches and players.
