SEARCY, Ark. (AP) - A man accused of surreptitiously filming employees at the White County Medical Center has pleaded guilty to four counts of video voyeurism.
The Daily Citizen reports (http://is.gd/O4fIdV) that Kyle Carpenter was sentenced to 10 years in prison on the felony charges.
Prosecutors accused the 28-year-old of using his cell phone to record women as they used the restroom as the hospital. Prosecutors say an employee found an iPhone on a shelf near a toilet in the staff restroom and noticed that it was recording.
Prosecutors say four women were captured on the video.
Carpenter will be required the register as a sex offender once he finishes his prison sentence.
His attorney, Ellen Rief, declined to comment.
