David Hocut, James Davis facing charges after allegedly stealing firearms from Coy residence

COY, Ark. (KTHV) - Two men facing charges after a report of a residential burglary in Lonoke County.

According to a Lonoke County Sheriff's Office press release, deputies responded to a residential burglary in Coy. They say five firearms, ammunition, and scopes were taken from the home.

Deputies say that further investigation led to the arrest of David Hocut, 31, from Hazen, and James Grant Davis, 28, from England.

At the time of arrest, deputies say the stolen property was recovered.

Hocut is facing charges of felony theft by receiving and possession of firearms by certain persons. Davis is facing felony theft by receiving.

Deputies say that a criminal charge of residential burglary will be filed through the affidavit process. Davis and Hocut are being held without bond at the Lonoke County Detention Facility.
