LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - In an effort to combat crime, many communities are participating in the mission-minded National Night Out.
National Night Out is on a mission to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership in hopes of a safer nation.

-Jacksonville, Ark. Event taking place at Nixon Library from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
-Conway, Ark. Event taking place at the Conway Police Department's Pine Street Substation. It begins at 6 p.m.
-Little Rock, Ark. Event taking place in Leawood at the neighborhood pool at 8723 Evergreen Dr. from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Also, at the West Central Baseball Field at 8616 ½ Colonel Glenn Rd. from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
-Bella Vista, Ark. Event taking place at Kingsdale Pavilion at 5 p.m.
-Dardanelle, Ark. Event taking place at Dardanelle Community Center on Hwy 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
-Fort Smith, Ark. Event taking place at the Fort Smith Convention Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
-Magnolia, Ark. Event taking place at Rider Roller Rink at 5 p.m.
