LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A Missouri woman has pleaded not guilty in Arkansas to computer fraud after authorities say she attempted to steal the identity of a girl who vanished from an Arkansas ball field in 1995.

Prosecutor John Johnson said bond for 24-year-old Tonya Renee Smith of Hollister, Mo., was also set at $15,000 on Thursday.

A public defender didn't immediately return a phone call seeking comment.

Arkansas State Police say Smith sought to obtain a copy of the birth certificate of Morgan Nick through an Internet-based company. She allegedly represented herself as the girl - who was 6-years-old when she vanished from an Alma ball field in 1995. The girl's disappearance has never been solved.

State Police say they arrested Smith Tuesday.
