Crews remove toppled trees in North Little Rock Thursday

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Cleanup crews spent Thursday afternoon and evening working to remove debris from trees that toppled over due to Isaac's winds.

At the intersection of Skyline and Duelly Roads in the Park Hill neighborhood, the tops of two trees crashed down about 3:00 p.m.

They fell on a parked car across the street, but no injuries are reported from the incident.

Homeowner Shelly Yielding was sad to see her favorite tree damaged, but recognizes that the situation could have been much worse.

"I'm so thankful that no one was hurt," she said. "My heart is broken that the tree is gone it is a really gorgeous tree."

Crews blame high winds on the destruction. Wind speeds picked up around that time as Isaac made its way into the area.
