PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - The remnants of Isaac has been pouring rain all over the state of Arkansas since Thursday afternoon, leaving some areas under water.
Pine Bluff has seen a lot of rain and could get another inch of rain today. Earlier today, we saw roads covered in water during resident's morning commute.
One towing company has helped over a dozen cars from flooded areas.
The flash flooding put some motorists in a bind in Pine Bluff Friday. Some motorists were stranded in the middle of flooded roadways. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department had rescue boats on standby.
Major Lafayette Woods says he had deputies patrolling the county.
"The hardest thing was putting out barrels to prevent people from going in the streets," says Maj. Woods.
The United Pentecostal Church opened its doors to any families in need.
