FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas golfer Sebastian Cappelen has been listed among the top 50 collegiate golfers in the nation by Golf World Magazine in its Sept. 3 issue.

Officials said Wednesday the magazine ranked its top 10 players in the nation, and then listed 40 others alphabetically as the "Best of the Rest." Cappelen's two years of Palmer Cup service was noted in the magazine. He's gone 4-2-2.

Cappelen has a career stroke average of 71.99 over 71 rounds, which is currently the best in school history. He ranks No. 11 on Arkansas' list of all-time top 10 finishes with 10 in his 24 career tournaments.

He and other members of the Razorbacks men's squad begin the 2012-2013 season on the road at Wayzata, Minn., to play at the Gopher Invitational.
