PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Fighting Fancy, founded by Heather Owens, helps young women battle cancer.
It's a nonprofit organization which provides "bags of hope," such as nail polish, specialized clothes and bracelets to these women. All items needed to "fight fancy," the same fight that Heather is still facing.
In April of 2012, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After seven treatments of chemotherapy, she has one more to go.
Through her family's support, and her nonprofit, Heather says she finds the emotional strength to persevere.
