An American firefighter takes time to honor those who lost lives in the Sept. 11th attacks.
PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - Pine Bluff fire stations are inviting the public to join them in a September 11 memorial service on Tuesday.
To honor and remember the 346 firefighters and paramedics killed during the attacks, Pine Bluff firefighters are hosting a ceremony at each station.
All Pine Bluff fire stations will hold a moment of silence at 8:58 a.m. Sirens will sound at 8:59 a.m. to mark the time of the South Tower of the World Trade Center collapsing.
At 9:00 a.m., there will be a minute-long moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives that day. Company officers and firefighters will end the moment of silence by reciting the firefighters' prayer.
