Olympic medalist Michael Tinsley returns to Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- THV's Mark Edwards sits down with Olympic medalist Michael Tinsley as he returns to Arkansas for the first time since London.

Michael Tinsley competed in the in 2012 Olympics in London. Tinsley won the silver medal in the 400M hurdles. He was the Olympic Trials champion in the event earlier this year.

Tinsley finished the 400M hurdles at the London Olympics in 47.91 seconds, ahead of his time at the trials (48.33).

Tinsley is from Little Rock and attended Robinson High School. He will be honored at the Senators football game Friday night before the kickoff.

Tinsley attended Jackson State University in Mississippi where he achieved several records. During that time, he was a three time NCAA All-American.
