LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Helping families in need is the main goal of the Salvation Army, but now the Salvation army needs our help.

Every day they serve breakfast and dinner, but often they are running low on food.

"We come every Monday of the week, whether it's a holiday or not." That's what Mary Shenker's been doing for the past three years.

"We prepare all our food at home, I'm the one who makes the assignments and I have people who will bring it to my house."

Shenker works with Feed the Hungry and helps the Salvation Army. She and a group of ladies provide breakfast every Monday morning.
