CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - With the help of a witness, Conway police have a robbery suspect in custody.
Detectives arrested Cortez Gould Wednesday. Police believe Gould is the man who robbed a wireless store at oak and Harkrider Sept. 7. He is charged with aggravated robbery and felon in possession of a firearm.
Store employees told police a man wearing a yellow rain suit entered the store with a gun in hand and demanded money. Once employees handed over the money, the suspect fled. A witness says they saw someone leave the store shortly after carrying a yellow bundle and get into a white SUV.
Surveillance video helped police get a description of the vehicle, and police spotted it in a motel parking lot Wednesday. Gould was inside a room of the motel when he was arrested. Another man with him was arrested on a gun charge but not charged in the armed robbery.
