September 19 is International Talk Like a Pirate Day! This is a day where you can live the life of a pirate, even if it is your speech! And this year marks the 10th anniversary for the day.

Want to talk like a pirate? The website has a pirate translator where you can take boring everyday English and make it sound like a pirate! Ahoy!

You can also create your own pirate name with the pirate name generator. Even take a pirate personality test.

The website is running slow with so much activity, so if you are unsuccessful in getting to the website, try again.

And for those with Facebook, you can change the entire website to be written like a pirate! All of your friends will be "Cap'n", events will be "Grog Fests", and rather than "liking" something, you "be admirin' it" by clicking "Arr!"
