LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Sept. 27, 2012) - There's a unique opportunity for aspiring performers here in Arkansas to get a chance to attend a a school in Italy to perfect their skills.

And you can help send them there just by attending a great event at the Argenta Community Theatre this Friday, September 28.

Fresh off their appearances at the New York Fringe Festival, Tut'zanni Theatre Company will perform Art For Sale, an original play in the classical Italian style of the Commedia dell'Arte.

This show uses various theatrical forms, including commedia dell'arte and neutral mask, music, shadow puppetry, dance, and acrobatics to illustrate the struggle and satisfaction of being an artist.

There will be a pre-performance cocktails at 6:30 p.m., hosted by the Amici dell'Arte advisory committee, as well as a post performance meet and greet with the performers and dessert reception. Tickets are $50.

THV's Alyse Eady spoke to the founders of Tut'zanni, Ali Landvatter and Dory Ford-Sibley, along with some of the performers on 'THV THis Morning'. Click on the THVideo!

All proceeds from the evening will go towards scholarships for Arkansas students to attend the Accademia dell'Arte.
