LINCOLN, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in northwest Arkansas say a student has been arrested in a threat against a high school that prompted a brief lockdown.

Lincoln High School was under lockdown for about 15 minutes Thursday after a male student threatened to kill "everybody in the school."

Lincoln Police Chief Russell Morphis told Fayetteville television station KHOG that the boy was charged with terroristic threatening.

Lincoln school Superintendent Clay Hendrix says parents weren't notified because the lockdown was so brief.
