Franklin, MA (CNN) -- A chemist at the center of a drug testing scandal at Massachusetts state lab was arrested today.
Annie Dookhan was taken into custody Friday. Local news station WCVB reports Dookhan admitted to faking test results and mishandling samples at the William A. Hinton State Laboratory.
She's also accused of lying to her employers about having a Master's degree.
Dookhan's work with criminal evidence is now under investigation.
As a result, Massachusetts authorities are expected to go back and review hundreds of cases she was involved in.
