3rd suspect arrested in NLR EZ Mart shooting, robbery

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -The third suspect in the deadly robbery at an EZ Mart in North Little Rock, 20-year-old Maclin Rogers of Jacksonville, was arrested early this morning.

The two other men were arrested, yesterday. Police say the three suspects robbed the EZ Mart on MacArthur Drive Saturday night, and then returned to shoot and kill the clerk, Akika Egeston, a single mother of two.

According to police, Jacksonville man Jacobi Robinson, 20, was arrested at his home Friday. Police say he's facing a charge of capital murder and of aggravated robbery. 

Robinson, police say, acknowledged his involvement in the crime.

Later Friday afternoon, police say Davion Howard, 19, was arrested in Texarkana, and is also facing a charge of capital murder and of aggravated robbery.  We're told Howard has also been connected to an aggravated robbery in Jacksonville on Sept. 21.
