NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) The Family Fun Fest stayed true to its name this year with a lot of families and a lot fun at Dickey Stephens Park.

Festival coordinators say this year's attendance hit a record of 5,000 people. The festival in its fourth year had plenty of activities for kids like face painting and inflatable playgrounds. Chairman Jeff Smith says businesses and organizations really helped out to make it a blast for kids.

"We had the Little Rock Zoo do their creature feature show, and we had Radio Disney which is always really popular with the kids," says Smith.

THV's Ashley Blackstone and Alyse Eady were today' emcees.
