FT. MYERS, FL (CNN) -- A bizarre situation unfolds at the Fort Myers Police Department.
This is surveillance video of the police station lobby on Wednesday morning. You can see a man enter into view. Police say he asked to speak to an officer, than sat down.
Two officers then come through a door and notice the man is carrying a silver machete.
Investigators say the man stands up, brandishing the machete at the officers.
Police jump into action and quickly subdued the suspect.
