LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) A Hollywood actress pays a visit to the Natural State on Saturday.
Actress Allie Grant from shows like "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody", "That's So Raven" and "Weeds" took time to speak to young Arkansans. She's part of a 2-day conference focusing on the arts and education. Grant says she understands the challenges faced by young actors.
"I'm from Tupelo Mississippi so I understand having limited resources and tools and the education because ultimately it does require quite a lot of education before moving and taking that next step to the arts," says Grant.
Saturday's events at Parkview High School focused on literacy along with education and taking advantage of opportunities.
