Judy Garland's 'Dorothy' dress hits auction block

UNDATED (KTHV) -- The dress Judy Garland wore as Dorothy to the land of Oz is hitting the auction block in November.

The blue gingham dress and puff-sleeved shirt is set at $200,000 but it is expected to go for half a million dollars.

Also in the auction 2012 Idols and Icons: Hollywood by Julien's Auction House, you can get several illustrations from Disney cartoons such as The Jungle Book and building schematics from the construction of Disneyland.

There are several scripts up for auction, including a signed M*A*S*H* script and others from shows like Roseanne and Happy Days.

There are several items of clothing worn on shows like Dynasty, Charlie's Angels, and dresses from the red carpet.

Dozens of movie posters are being offered in groups from different eras and different movie styles.

There is an entire section of the auction dedicated to items that once belonged to Robert Goulet including clothing, a handwritten note from Fred Astaire, and movie props.

Items that once belonged to martial arts expert Bruce Lee are on the auction block including a pen drawing of a dragon done by Lee and signed. There is also clothing and jewelry once owned by Lee.

And there are several items pertaining to America's sweetheart Marilyn Monroe. You can purchase her junior high graduation program and her 1942 high school yearbook when she was in the 10th grade. There are also dozens upon dozens of photographs to choose from starting with her early modeling career and brunette hair to her actress days with her trademark blonde bob.
