CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Our affiliate KFSM reports that a hunter found human remains on an island in the Arkansas River.

According to KFSM, Crawford County sheriff Ron Brown says a hunter reported finding the remains around 5:30 p.m. Monday. He tells KFSM that the bones are so decomposed they haven't been able to determine if they belonged to a man or a woman.
