LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - United States Chief Agricultural Negotiator Isi Siddiqui is visiting Arkansas to discuss increasing American exports and jobs.
Ambassador Siddiqui started his tour in Rogers with a tour of the Arkansas World Trade Center at the University of Arkansas with representatives from the Arkansas poultry industry. Then he traveled to Stuttgart to tour Riceland Foods, Inc. rice mill.
Wednesday, Ambassador Siddiqui is ending his trip to Arkansas with a tour of Heifer International Campus.
Ambassador Siddiqui traveled the state to participate in roundtable meetings with local farmers and ranchers and visit agricultural research and production sites. He also shared how the Obama Administration is working to boost U.S. agricultural exports that support jobs for Arkansans.
