The Arkansas Supreme Court has agreed to hear oral arguments in the case of a professional poker player seeking exclusive rights to operate casinos in the state.
EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - Justices are traveling to El Dorado this week to hear oral arguments in a case involving a nearby chemical plant.
The Arkansas Supreme Court will hear arguments Thursday morning at the El Dorado Conference Center.
The Supreme Court occasionally holds the arguments outside of Little Rock to provide more Arkansans with an opportunity to see how the state's highest court works.
The court has previously met in Bentonville, Blytheville, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Harrison, Helena, Hope, Hot Springs, Jonesboro, Monticello, Pine Bluff and Texarkana.
