DARDANELLE, Ark. (KTHV) - Hundreds of walkers are lacing up their sneakers Saturday for a walk to benefit Down Syndrome research.
The 3rd annual Logan's River Walk for Down Syndrome is taking place at Veteran's Park in Dardanelle. It runs from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
In 2011, about 325 walkers participated and raised about $5,000. The walk takes place during National Down Syndrome Month. To learn more about the condition, visit the Arkansas Down Syndrome Association's website.
