LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A national Republican political action committee is targeting six legislative races in Arkansas.

GOPAC President David Avella announced Wednesday that the group is donating $2,000 to each of the candidates. Three are running for Senate and three are running for the House.

Arkansas Republican Party Chairman Doyle Webb says the GOP is in position to win majorities in both legislative chambers. Webb says the money can go toward last-minute print and radio advertising.

State Democrats have criticized the GOP for accepting outside money in this year's campaigns.
