FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Eight candidates for the Arkansas Legislature are expected to talk about higher education issues in the campaign at a University of Arkansas forum.
The candidates will answer questions submitted by University of Arkansas staff, faculty and students at the Monday afternoon forum at the Reynolds Center Auditorium in Fayetteville. The candidates include Randy Alexander, Rep. Charlie Collins, Paul Graham, Adella Gray, Rep. Justin Harris, Rep. Uvalde Lindsey, Micah Scott Neal and David Whitaker.
Alexander, Collins, Graham, Harris and Neal are Republicans. Gray, Lindsey and Whitaker are Democrats.
The forum begins at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
