LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) President Bill Clinton is in town announcing a new fitness program to fight childhood obesity.
The Clinton Foundation is teaming up with celebrity trainer Billy Banks and several other groups as part of this national movement called "Fit for a Healthier Generation".
Banks and several trainers were on hand to train hundreds outside the Clinton Center, today. This campaign includes three to five minutes of exercises that kids and teachers can do throughout the school day.
"Almost all type two diabetes is avoidable and almost all are reversible," says Clinton.
President Clinton is also the co-founder of Alliance for a Healthier Generation. Schools can access the fitness breaks by clicking here.
